Our client, a main car dealership in Waterford, is seeking a Financial Controller to lead their Finance Team. If you are a fully qualified accountant, with industry experience and enjoy working in a hands-on position in an innovative environment, we’d love to hear from you. Salary & Benefits:
Extremely attractive Salary for the right candidate including 5% pension
Hours – Fully Onsite – Mon – Fri 9 – 5.30pm
Duties:
Manage all Financial Accountancy and audit queries.
Compile all Management Accounts
Manage audit and rebates + bonuses for sales and parts sales.
Manage and track Reconciliations.
Margin reporting monthly.
Working with Managers re bonuses and bonus structures
Reviewing the company's financial statements to ensure they are accurate.
Preparing month-end reports for management, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements
Recommending changes in policies or procedures that will improve financial performance.
Forecasting future financial performance
Preparing and analysing budgets
Ensuring compliance with government regulations
Experience Required:
Minimum 5 years experience required
Experience in a busy sales environment – the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong multi-tasking skills.
Excellent IT skills, with a high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, MS Word, Outlook).
Efficiency orientated with excellent time management and organisation skills.
A high level of accuracy and attention to detail are essential.
Driver to achieve targets.
Similar experience in industry is an advantage.
