Core areas of responsibility – Stock Control, Logistics & Customer Service The role will involve co-ordinating intakes and deliveries within production and sales plans whilst ensuring that the highest levels of customer service and logistics efficiency are maintained. The role will involve interaction with in-house production and shipping teams, worldwide suppliers, shipping companies and customers throughout Ireland.
Responsibilities:
Becoming the business “superuser” of Navision and ensure all other users are inputting into the system in the correct and most efficient manner.
Organising all product movements from vendors into three main destinations.
Liaising with customers to ensure product is approved prior to shipping and that shipping/arrival times are agreed.
Managing a seed book annually for planning purposes that shows historical levels of consumption and sales along side production plans for each item within the warehouse.
Managing in pre-season and in-season stock of “on the shelf items” to ensure production stays ahead of demand.
Ensuring the product movement plan from vendors matches that of the production plan as best possible to ensure continuity in production plans and warehouse stocking.
Entering and administrating of all production i.e. mixing of stock items, specials and individual customer brands and agree stocking plan with the sales representative responsible for that customer.
