HR Administrator

  • Fixed Term Contract
  • Waterford- Hybrid

We currently have an exciting job opportunity for a Human Resources Administrator. This is a hybrid working role with the office days based in Portlaw, Co. Waterford. This is a Fixed Term Contract role to cover a maternity leave.

Responsibilities of this role include but are not limited to:

  • Act as a first point of contact for all HR administration queries across 4 companies and manage all queries in a proactive manner.
  • Co-ordination of all aspects of the payroll process: joiners, leavers, benefits, etc.
  • Maintenance of employee files ensuring all data is up to date and correct.
  • Involvement in recruitment activities such as advertising, screening of candidates, first stage interviewing & reference checks.
  • Co-ordination of employee benefits, statutory leave entitlements, reward and recognition incentives, and probation reviews ensuring they take place on time.
  • Supporting the Human Resources Manager with key HR projects and other ad hoc duties as required.
  • Other admin duties as required.

Requirements & Competencies:

  • Previous experience working within an HR team is essential.
  • 3rd Level HR related diploma or degree is preferred.
  • Previous experience dealing with Payroll is preferred.
  • Detail orientated, with strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organised with the ability to multitask on a daily basis whilst not compromising the quality of work.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to communicate concerns and issues in a diplomatic manner that does not offend or escalate.
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team supporting others.
  • Treats sensitive or confidential information in a trustworthy manner.
  • Self-motivated, flexible, upbeat, and willing to learn.

Carry out all other duties as required and participate as a full member of the Human Resources team by supporting different work projects, as required, from time to time.
