Credit Controller – Dublin City Centre

At Osborne we are currently recruiting for our Not-for-Profit client for an experienced Credit Controller. This is a permanent role and will be based in Dublin 1 and will be based fully onsite in the office. This role will join a busy finance team and will be reporting to the Head of Finance. 
As a Credit Controller, you will play a critical role in managing outstanding accounts, ensuring timely payment of contributions and donations from supporters, sponsors, and donors. Your efforts will directly contribute to maintaining a healthy cash flow for their organization, enabling them to continue their impactful work in the community.

Salary:

Qualifications and Skills: 

  • Proven work experience in credit control, accounts receivable, or a similar finance role. 
  • Not-for-profit sector is highly desirable, but not essential. 
  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller or in a similar finance role, preferably within the not-for-profit sector but open on this. 
  • Solid understanding of credit control principles, donation collection techniques, and accounting procedures. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to interact sensitively with supporters and stakeholders. 
  • Strong analytical abilities to assess credit risk and make informed decisions on credit limits for contributions. 
  • Proficiency in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications. 
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records, especially when dealing with confidential donor information. 
  • Familiarity with financial regulations relevant to not-for-profit organizations and adherence to ethical fundraising practices. 
  • Goal-oriented with a focus on optimizing cash flow to support the organization's charitable initiatives. 
  • Ability to work independently while fostering a collaborative and supportive team environment.
