Procurement Executive – located in Co. Louth – Permanent – €50,000
Are you in Procurement and looking to take the next step into a management role, well this role may be for you! This is a vital role within the organisation, you will need to have experience within engineering, manufacturing or construction.

Key Responsibilities: As a Procurement Manager, you will:
Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives.
Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts to secure favourable terms and conditions.
Continuously assess supplier performance and initiate improvements where necessary.
Monitor market trends, prices, and availability of materials to make informed purchasing decisions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Finance, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
Identify and onboard new suppliers while maintaining a reliable supplier base.
Oversee inventory management and optimize stock levels to reduce carrying costs.
Develop and manage the procurement budget.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
Mentor and lead a team of procurement professionals.
Skills:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the HVAC industry.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and supply chain best practices.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Results-driven and able to meet and exceed KPIs.
