Procurement Executive – located in Co. Louth – Permanent – €50,000

Are you in Procurement and looking to take the next step into a management role, well this role may be for you!
This is a vital role within the organisation, you will need to have experience within engineering, manufacturing or construction.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Procurement Manager, you will:

  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet the company's objectives.
  • Manage supplier relationships, negotiations, and contracts to secure favourable terms and conditions.
  • Continuously assess supplier performance and initiate improvements where necessary.
  • Monitor market trends, prices, and availability of materials to make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Production, Engineering, and Finance, to ensure timely and cost-effective procurement.
  • Identify and onboard new suppliers while maintaining a reliable supplier base.
  • Oversee inventory management and optimize stock levels to reduce carrying costs.
  • Develop and manage the procurement budget.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards.
  • Mentor and lead a team of procurement professionals.


  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience as a Procurement Manager in a manufacturing environment, ideally in the HVAC industry.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma principles and supply chain best practices.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Results-driven and able to meet and exceed KPIs.
