Office Administrator – Tullamore – Temp until January

Here in Osborne, we are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our client, a healthcare-based company in Tullamore, on a Temporary basis until January.
This person will be responsible for clerical, administrative, bookkeeping and reception duties.
This position will suit a candidate who has a strong background in administration, previous experience working in finance or reporting in excel and who enjoys working in the public service industry.
This role needs a candidate who available to start work immediately and can commit to the position until January 24.
Location: Tullamore (fully on-site 5 days per week)
Salary €15ph
Hours: 9-5 Monday to Friday

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Strong educational background in finance, administration, or related field
  • Proven experience in administrative and clerical roles
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant software applications
  • Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team
  • Familiarity with accounting procedures and bookkeeping tasks is a plus

The Job:

  • Providing essential administrative support to the Manager and advocacy team
  • Managing the Manager's diary when necessary
  • Aiding in financial monitoring and reporting
  • Assisting in typing tasks for the team
  • Maintaining organized records and files for efficient information retrieval
  • Operating payroll systems as required
  • Dealing with calls from the public and responding to queries
  • Contributing to bookkeeping activities including banking tasks
  • Coordinating events and meetings, ensuring accurate minute-taking when needed
  • Addressing inquiries through various communication channels and directing them to the appropriate team members
  • Assisting in preparing documents and reports for the Board of Directors
  • Ensuring an adequate stock of stationery, publications, and information materials
