Operations Services Assistant Manager – Kildare Town – Permanent

Here at Osborne, we are excited to be working with our Kildare-based client in seeking a Operations Services Assistant Manager to join their team.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • Previous experience in facilities/operational management is essential.
  • BIFM or IFMA qualification in Facilities Management is preferable.
  • Hospitality/event management experience is advantageous.
  • Strong experience in a fast-moving environment is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in leading a team of employees and contractors to achieve service standards.
  • Ability to manage budgets and contractor relationships.
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to prioritize and meet deadlines.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts from Monday to Sunday.
  • Fluent in English and local language, additional European languages are beneficial.

The Job:

General Services:

  • Build and maintain relationships with service providers, security officers, emergency services, local authorities, and government agencies.
  • Monitor and assess service levels, attending contract review meetings.
  • Ensure compliance in all service delivery areas.
  • Collaborate with Security Manager and team leaders to maintain security standards.
  • Coordinate with site managers and team leaders to ensure task completion.
  • Support shift leaders in maintaining cleaning standards.
  • Manage service rota for proper resource allocation.
  • Attend service level meetings to ensure contracted service levels are met.
  • Monitor budgets and resource management.
  • Maintain stock levels and order necessary consumables.
  • Support planned maintenance and reactive maintenance tasks.
  • Supervise on-site maintenance work and ensure quality.
  • Understand parking operations and support strategic planning.
  • Manage contract service levels for parking operations.

Health and Safety – Business Continuity:

  • Support H&S policies and management plans.
  • Conduct contractor inductions and ensure adherence to regulations.
  • Comply with Business Continuity Plan.
  • Participate in H&S meetings and training.

Additional Services & Duties:

  • Support various additional services, including waste management, landscaping, customer service, and more.
  • Understand and support various projects related to sustainability, property management, brand communications, and more.
  • Support Retail and Marketing teams in event coordination.
  • Maintain communication with Retail and Development teams.
