Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting for an experienced Bookkeeper on behalf of our client based in Dublin 2. Our client is a well-known organisation for Auctions of Irish art, Irish collectibles and Irish antiques. This role would suit experienced accounts professionals with five years+ experience working in a similar role. Our client offers some excellent benefits which are outlined below;

Essential Skills:

• Must have advanced expertise in SAGE as they run a complicated system to deal with Margin Scheme VAT, client accounts, and intricate reconciliations.
• Experience taking accounts to trial balance.

 
Duties:

• Debtors & Creditors using Sage preparing accounts to Trial Balance
• Maintaining cashflow and monitoring bank accounts
• Bank lodgements
• Bank Reconciliations 
• Processing, reconciling and posting batches entries of debtors/creditors invoices
• Creditor payments (Euro, USD, STG and other currencies). 
• Preparing VAT returns
• Credit control/Cash Collection
• Generating month end reports from Sage
