Finance Manager – Ireland

Well established company is seeking a Finance Manager to work with them. This is a permanent post!
Hybrid role, working in the not-for-profit industry.
This candidate will lead and manage the Finance function ensuring the long-term viability of a not-for-profit organisation.
This position would suit an Accountant who has experience with a charitable organisation and would like to take on a new challenge.

Responsibilities of Role

• Create and manage budgets and forecasts for relevant departments across the business.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial reporting for senior management.
• Oversee internal/external audits and ensure compliance through internal controls, operations, and policies.
• Prepare monthly management accounts for board meetings (present to board).
• Manage the finance department which includes Payroll and Accounts Payable.
• Work closely with the senior leadership team on business decisions and strategies.
• Preparing & posting relevant journals.
• Analyse financial data to provide insights into business performance.

Responsibilities of role

• 5 years plus experience as a Finance Manager.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Professional accounting qualification essential.
• Experience in a Charity or Not for Profit organisation preferred but not essential.
• Highly organised with the ability to work to strict deadlines.
• Highly proficient with Excel and accounting packages.
