The Company:

Our client is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to take ownership of changing priorities within their finance team.

The Role:
 

  • Salary €21/hr
  • Part-time 15-20 hours per week
  • A friendly and supportive work environment

Responsibilities:
 

  • Experienced Credit Controller
  • Sage 50 experience
  • Must be able to work autonomously
  • Bringing Aged Debtor up to date
  • Fully onsite
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across various departments
  • Preparing Debtors reports for weekly meeting
  •  Reviewing daily Cash Sales accounts
  • Placing accounts on hold and reviewing daily
  • Assisting with the Cashflow
  • Assisting with Month End Reports
  • Setting up new accounts and carrying out credit checks
  • Issuing Credit Notes to customers
  •  Creditors and Debtors Reconciliations
  •  Bank Reconciliations
  • Preparing Rebates for customers
  • Dealing with Customers queries
  • Assisting with Vat returns
  • Dealing with requests for statements, Invoices & pods

Qualifications and Requirements:
 

  • Previous experience in Debtor Control and Accounts Receivable
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to colleagues at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Sage 50
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite including Excel
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
  • Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Commitment to long-term career development within the company
