Head of Operations

Osborne Executive search are delighted to introduce an exciting senior career opportunity with a leading, award-winning Irish Trust, and Company Service Provider (TCSP) who provide a “complete resource centre.” for people looking to start or grow their business.
This is a new senior leadership role within the company, which has come about in response to continued growth in their long-established business. As Head of Operations, you will report into the Managing Director and join a fantastic team where people, culture and client service are to the forefront. 

Summary of the Position:
The Head of Operations will work with the leadership team in setting strategy and goals and implementing actions that promote company growth, sustainable profit, and success! This offers an excellent opportunity for the right person to make a real impact in a role where they will be valued for their contribution.
The successful candidate will present as a highly motivated individual who already has a passion for creating an amazing client experience and wants to help drive others to do the same. You must have a strong aptitude for coaching and driving a team to success.

Key Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Responsible for assisting with the management of Team Members, including direct reports, to deliver on operational KPIs and SLAs
  • Lead and mentor a team of managers to ensure efficient and seamless operational workflows, optimizing productivity and maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Work closely with our outsourced IT provider to deliver on systems and process improvement and development.
  • Lead in an innovative environment that focuses on continuous improvement (Kaizen) and promote Company Values
  • Build and maintain positive and respectful relationships with our stakeholders.
  • Effectively drive engagement and culture to deliver an excellent employee and client experience.
  • Improve operational systems, processes, best practices, and reporting structures.
  • Handle team member and client escalations and issues as appropriate, and in a timely manner
  • Develop and execute operational plans and strategy across the business on budget and on time.
  • Focus on monitoring and improving the performance of all activities with a keen eye for detail.
  • End-to-end execution of operational projects
  • Identify new opportunities to grow revenue. 
  • Any other duties related to this role, as assigned by the Managing Director

Skills and Experience Required:

  • The ideal candidate will have strong experience in operations management, both strategic and day-to-day operations, with a proven track record of delivering positive results
  • Ability to develop actionable insights from complex data and experience with data analysis, data manipulation.
  • Ability to set strategy for the Company and follow through on tactical execution.
  • Innovative, positive can-do approach
  • CPD – Keeps up to date with trends and developments in their field. Interest/knowledge of developments in AI is a distinct advantage.
  • Strong business acumen
  • Solutions oriented, with excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Strong influencing skills
  • Proven success in project management and process improvement
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to develop & maintain relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent IT skills – a tech background would be an advantage.
  • Excellent administration and organisational skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work to strict deadlines
