We are currently looking to recruit a HR Generalist for a well-established not for profit company based in Dublin 1. 

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Supporting the end-to-end recruitment process including updating job descriptions, advertising roles, arranging interviews, and sitting on interview panels, offer letters and contracts.
  • Provide employee onboarding and support the induction process for new staff.
  • Managing HR electronic records system.
  • Generating HR metrics and producing reports as required.
  • Ensure staff records, training, probation tracking and other HR administration is maintained and up-to date.
  • Improving, implementing, and administering human resources policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining, amending, and keeping up-to-date Employee Handbook in line with changes to employment law and best practice.
  • Support in developing and coordinating training for new and existing staff.
  • Assist in the creation and implementation of employee engagement strategies.
  • Assist in grievance and disciplinary process, as required.
  • Respond to various HR related queries from staff.
  • Support managers by providing information, guidance, and advice on all HR related matters.
  • Provide HR support in the delivery of the people strategy, assisting in the improvement of employee relations.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Make recommendations for improvements to HR processes and practices.
  • Ad hoc HR projects as required.

Role requirements:

  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Flexible attitude, and ability to manage multiple priorities and shifting demands.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to communicate clearly.
  • Ability to deliver and work in a fast-paced growth organization.
  • Ability to develop and maintain good working relationships with colleagues at all levels throughout the organization.
  • Hands on approach with strong work ethic and ability to work on your own initiative.

Experience required:

  • Relevant third level qualification.
  • 3 years + relevant HR experience in a similar role.
  • Full-driver’s license and access to own transport as some travel throughout the organization will be required.
  • Good knowledge of Irish policies and procedures
