Project Manager – Dublin 1 – Permanent

Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting a Project Manager on behalf of our client based in Dublin 1. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a commercially driven and reputable team within a public sector organization. We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Project Manager to join the operational Public Private Partnership contract management team. The primary responsibility of this role is to oversee the day-to-day project and contract management of operational PPP projects. Additionally, the successful candidate will have the opportunity to offer support and input during the planning, procurement, and construction phases of new projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly meet with PPP Co. representatives, client department officials, and end users.
  • Conduct audits and reviews to ensure the PPP Co. complies with its contractual obligations.
  • Monitor and report on project risks and control measures, including costs, change control, program, health and safety, and service delivery standards.
  • Chair client meetings and act as the representative of the organisation at key project meetings and other engagements.
  • Establish and maintain project corporate governance structures in collaboration with client bodies, ensuring the fulfillment of responsibilities as outlined in the relevant Service Level Agreement.
  • Prepare reports, recommendations, memos, and presentations as required.
  • Manage the administration and organization of all project documents, registers, and trackers using the electronic document management system.
  • Review and provide input on tender cost reports, contract variations, and claims, offering recommendations to management.
  • Manage stakeholder relationships and uphold the integrity and reputation of the organisation in all interactions.
  • Contribute to other duties within the team as needed from time to time.

 
Key Requirements

  • Third Level honours degree (or equivalent) in a related discipline
  • Minimum of five years of relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Strong background in project management/cost management or contract administration.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work effectively in a high performing team environment.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal with attention to detail.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and a process-oriented mindset.
  • Commitment to CPD training.
  • Full clean driving licence as travel to project locations will be required.
