The Job: Our client, a world renowned manufacturer and distributor of electrical and electronic products and systems, are looking to employ an Applied Solutions (Commissioning) Engineer to join their team in Ballymount, Dublin 24. The position would have a split focus with responsibilities including training for installers, aftersales technical queries, overseeing commissioning and as well as analysis of performance data and reporting.
Duties and responsibilities:
Attend factory training – F2F and online – to stay up to date with current and new products from the company Applied range – comprising chillers, heatpumps, IT Cooling systems, packaged rooftops and Air Handling units
Provide classroom based training for installers
Provide on-site training for installers
Assist installers with aftersales technical queries.
Co-ordinate with sales team and installers in order to ensure effective planning, organisation and delivery of commissioning and warranty service call schedule.
Provide office based phone support to our installer partners
Keep and maintain service and maintenance records in line with company policies
Log and record all on site calls in ‘aftersales calendar’ including call out requests and site reports
Ensure the quality of installations are in line with company standards.
Provide commissioning and commissioning assistance.
Analyse performance data and prepare reports.
Liaise with factory and keep up to date with products and developments.
Assess warranty claims.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required paperwork and reports using relevant packages.
Adherence to health and safety practices and procedures.
Minimum Requirements:
Completed relevant engineering qualification or suitable relevant experience within the specific field of electrical, electronics or mechatronics engineering
Minimum of 5 years industry experience
