About the Role:
The Osborne Tech and Eng team are currently sourcing a Health and Safety Officer for our Civil Engineering and Construction client. This role is a permanent fulltime role and will be primarily based on site in South Dublin but will be required to travel to other active sites (as far as Kilkenny area) on a frequent basis.


  • Natural leadership skills
  • Excellent knowledge & understanding of Irish H&S legislation & the ability to implement & enforce same
  • Proactive and energetic disposition
  • Detail orientated
  • Relevant H&S Qualification (completed)
  • 3+yrs on site experience


  • Working with site management teams to plan & coordinate site activities.
  • Conduct weekly site inspections & identify & address potential hazards
  • Investigate & record incidents & propose preventative measures.
  • Produce site specific RAMs
  • Overseeing staff training & site inductions
  • Implementation of ISO 45001 Safety standard
  • Expected to cover sites in Dublin & Kilkenny

Market related remuneration package will be offered plus a company vehicle and other benefits
