Accounting Technician

We are current working with a great accountancy practice whom is looking to hire an Accounts Technician to join the organisation, you must have one years practice experience

Responsibilities of Role:

• Assist in accounts preparation process
• Providing assistance for Income Tax processes
• Providing assistance for audit testing and processes.
• Input data using various software packages, Sage, excel etc.
• Assist in company secretarial function
• Bank reconciliations
• Liaise with clients as directed
• Assist in the preparation and filing of VAT Returns using ROS
• Cover reception when required
• Data archive
• General administration duties e.g. issuing engagement letters, document management, scanning and filing etc.
• Carrying out other adhoc duties as and when required

Requirements of Role:

• AAT qualification
• 1+ year experience with an accounting practice
• Customer service experience
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Sound problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
