Osborne are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Cost Accountant with Manufacturing Experience to join their dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards
Prepare financial statements, budgets, and forecasts for the manufacturing / production department
Analyse manufacturing / production costs, variances, and performance indicators to identify areas for improvement
Support inventory management and control processes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess the financial impact of operational decisions
Provide financial analysis and recommendations to optimize profitability and cost efficiency
Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes
Ensure compliance with relevant tax and regulatory requirements
Develop and maintain strong working relationships with colleagues across various departments
Qualifications and Requirements:
Part-qualified or fully qualified accountant with relevant professional certification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Previous experience in a manufacturing/production environment is essential
Proven Cost Accountancy background
Excellent communication skills to effectively convey financial information to colleagues at all levels
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in advanced Excel skills, including data analysis, formulas, and financial modelling
Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting and analysis
Knowledge of relevant accounting standards, regulations, and best practices
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organisational and time management skills
Commitment to long-term career development within the company
