HR Specialist

We are a reputable company based in Co. Meath, Ireland, and we are seeking an experienced HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. As an HR Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our organization's human resources functions and ensuring the smooth operation of our HR processes.   • Manage the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in compliance with local labor laws and regulations.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure HR compliance and recommend improvements when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters, including performance issues, disciplinary actions, and conflict resolution.
  • Administer and maintain accurate employee records, including personal information, employment contracts, and leave records.
  • Coordinate and facilitate training and development initiatives to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
  • Support the compensation and benefits process, including salary reviews, bonus calculations, and benefits administration.
  • Stay up-to-date with HR best practices and industry trends to ensure the company remains competitive in attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements and HR initiatives.
  • Handle employee queries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.


  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as an HR Specialist or in a similar HR role.
  • In-depth knowledge of Irish employment laws and regulations.
  • Proven experience in managing the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding processes.
  • Strong understanding of HR policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with utmost professionalism and discretion.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and MS Office Suite.
  • Professional HR certification (e.g., CIPD) is desirable but not required.
