Job Title: Sales and Account Manager – Learning and Development
Location: Dublin, Ireland
Salary:
Osborne Recruitment, a leading Irish recruitment agency, is currently seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales and Account Manager to join our clients team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional with a passion for sales. As the Sales and Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and establishing our clients company as a trusted leader in the industry.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop a network of targeted Learning and Development prospects.
  • Drive efficient, effective, and outcome-based campaigns to increase business in education-like or related services.
  • Build and nurture contacts in Learning and Development departments across target markets.
  • Promote and become a trusted advisor for our products and service offerings.
  • Oversee demand generation, sales, and delivery of services.
  • Evaluate and develop new education sales opportunities to expand business and increase profitability.
  • Proactively identify new leads and strategies for engaging with target industries and geographies.
  • Research and scope current and future industry opportunities in the area of education and online learning.
  • Run a full sales cycle and close sales for both new business and existing customers.
  • Plan and schedule high-impact engagements.
  • Oversee and manage the process of obtaining CPD accreditation for training courses.
  • Collaborate with our content creation team to transfer training to our platform.
  • Follow up diligently with participants to gather feedback, assess training effectiveness, and provide certificates of completion.
  • Conduct ROI analysis for all education and project initiatives.
  • Market our services, ensuring our promotional and sales platforms are optimized.
  • Manage the administration of training platforms, products, and projects, ensuring content is up to date.
  • Provide tailored and timely follow-up to contacts who inquire or engage with the education platform and related communications.
  • Report regularly and effectively, developing metrics reports to enable data-driven decision making.
  • Lead effective and timely project management to support sales initiatives.
  • Engage in education program research, learning networks, and training landscape to stay up to date with best practices.

What we expect:

  • Proven track record of self-motivation, self-initiative, and the ability to work to KPIs, deadlines, and targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to work successfully with multiple decision-makers and stakeholders.
  • Strong systems and software skills, with a willingness to learn new systems.
  • A team player with a history of completing projects, processes, and tasks to a high standard.
  • Positive energy, fostering professional relationships with the team and industry experts.

What we require:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Sales, Business, Learning & Development, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of relevant work experience, including selling education training programs or a similar industry.
  • Experience in sales and demand generation within the education and learning and development sectors.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Familiarity with obtaining CPD accreditation for training courses.
  • Previous experience in tech sales/web/online learning product sales.
  • Knowledge of American and International “Education” product type sales industry would be advantageous.
  • Expertise in using a CRM system.
  • Dedication to managing key accountabilities to deliver personal and team goals.
