Financial Accountant – Hyrbid – Great benefits & Company! Dublin 15

A renowned FMCG / Logistics firm based in Dublin West have a Financial Accountant role available on their team.
This role will suit a fully/ part qualified Accountant who can hit the ground running and enjoy being a key member of the team.

Salary & Benefits:

  • The salary will reflect the candidate’s experience: €50k – 60k
  • Hybrid – 2 days onsite, 3 days wfh

Duties / Responsibilities:

  • Produce the monthly financial and management accounts to strict deadlines.
  • (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cashflow, Margin Reports)
  • Analyse company performance versus budget; explain & report on variances.
  • Manage financial accounting controls and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Manage customer long term agreements (LTAs) and maintain accurate LTA accounts and backup reports.
  • Manage the Principal marketing accounts & recharges. Ensure all transactions are processed promptly and account reconciliations performed monthly.
  • Ensure inventory valuation is represented accurately in the accounts by working with the team members managing the inventory processes & systems interfaces
  • Oversee accounts assistants’ tasks if required by the Financial Controller.
  • Ad hoc analysis and reports
  • Ad hoc projects and role development in line with business requirements

Requirements:

  • ACCA / CIMA / ACA part or fully qualified accountant
  • You will be self-motivated, driven, passionate and ambitious for yourself and your team.
  • Experience within FMCG / Logistics or Distribution industry and advantage.
  • Strong Microsoft office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Results driven, self- starter who will work on their own initiative. Be Proactive.
  • Demonstrate an ability to meet tight deadlines and an appreciation for the importance of providing prompt results & financial information in a business.
  • An ability to manage change; identify and implement new processes & controls when required.
  • Excellent communication, team-work and influencing skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail & strong analytical skills.
  • High level of proficiency in MS Office & ERP system utilisation will be key for the role.
  • In-depth knowledge and comprehensive understanding of accounting, accounting & audit controls, and business end to end processes.
