Osborne Executive Search is proud to partner with our client, a global leader in security services, who are seeking a Financial Controller on a ten-month contract basis. We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to provide essential support to the Finance Director. As a Financial Controller, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the financial health and stability of the organisation. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a strategic mindset. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to the overall financial success and growth of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive support to the Finance Director in various financial tasks and initiatives.
• Assist in the production of management accounts within specified deadlines
• Interpret the company's financial results, identify trends, and recommend improvement activities to management.
• Generate additional analyses and reports as requested by management to provide insights for decision-making.
• Manage and supervise the Finance department staff, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Prepare quarterly balance sheet files and ensure accurate management of intercompany accounts.
• Forecast cash flow positions, analyse trends, and ensure sufficient funds are available for ongoing operational and capital requirements.

Requirements:

• Qualified accountant with 5yrs+ PQE
• Demonstrate values of integrity, vigilance, and helpfulness.
• Motivate others and exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills with initiative.
• Collaborative working and effective communication skills, fostering relationships at all levels.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in finance and maintain a commercial focus.
