Here in Osborne, we are excited to be working with our client, a leading food manufacturer, in seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join their team in Tullamore. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising and leading the picking team. The primary goal will be to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the warehouse while building a highly engaged team
The Package:
€15-18 per hour (DOE)
Shift pattern with some night shifts required
Chilled warehouse environment
Onsite parking and canteen facilities
The Ideal Candidate:
Possesses strong interpersonal skills and can make logical decisions in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrates leadership abilities and can effectively supervise and engage a team
Committed to meeting deadlines and maintaining a safe and efficient warehouse operation
Fluent in written and spoken English
Previous supervisory experience is essential
Forklift license is advantageous (training provided)
Proficient computer skills
Prior warehouse experience is a plus but not required
The Job:
You will work closely with planners to coordinate stock picking and ensure orders are fulfilled accurately and on time. Additionally, you will be responsible for loading and unloading transport, maintaining housekeeping standards, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
Key Accountabilities:
Maintain a safe and efficient warehouse operation
Foster a positive and engaged team environment
Coordinate with planners to ensure accurate stock picking
Ensure timely and complete order fulfillment
Load and unload transport with minimal delay or shortages
Process orders and deliveries using online software
Perform administrative tasks related to order management
Uphold high housekeeping standards
Promote a positive health and safety culture within the shift
Provide daily data to the Warehouse Manager regarding goods out, shortages, transport, hours worked, and attendance
Manage team working hours and holidays in collaboration with the Manager
Collaborate with quality personnel for inspections and adherence to quality service standards
