Job Opportunity: Renewable Energy Planner – Exciting Role with Leading European Company

Osborne Executive Search is delighted to partner with our prestigious client, a prominent European renewable energy company expanding its footprint in Ireland. We are currently seeking a highly qualified and experienced Renewable Energy Planner to fill this exciting new position. Our client's vision revolves around making renewable energy accessible, economically viable, and sustainable, contributing to a greener future.

As a Renewable Energy Planner, you will be actively involved in projects across various locations in Ireland. The role comes with an attractive package that includes a competitive base salary, along with benefits such as a pension plan and a company car (EV) for the right candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate effectively within the Planning team to meet project requirements and objectives.
  • Take charge of medium to large-scale renewable energy planning projects, leading them from their inception to successful completion.
  • Work closely with design teams to prepare and submit planning applications, planning appeals, site feasibility studies, and planning strategies.
  • Ensure smooth coordination with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, consultants, and local authorities.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience within the planning and development industry, with a focus on renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
  • A recognized qualification in Town Planning, accredited by IPI or RTPI, is essential.
  • Demonstrated expertise in the Irish planning processes, regulations, and guidelines.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with various stakeholders.
  • Strong report writing and analytical abilities to present well-structured project documentation.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and quality in all planning-related tasks.
