Job Description:
As an Accountancy and Finance Professional, you will be responsible for supporting our clients in various accounting and finance functions on a temporary basis. This may include roles such as Accounts Payable/Receivable, Financial Analysis, Taxation, Auditing, Payroll, Management Accounting, and more.
Your responsibilities may include:
Assisting with day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with financial regulations.
Processing invoices, managing accounts payable and receivable, and reconciling financial statements.
Conducting financial analysis, preparing reports, and providing insights to support decision-making.
Assisting with tax preparation and ensuring compliance with tax regulations.
Participating in audit activities, including preparing documentation and conducting internal audits.
Managing payroll functions, including processing payroll and ensuring accurate and timely payments.
Supporting the Finance team with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
Collaborating with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to achieve departmental and organizational goals.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
Professional qualifications such as ACCA, ACA, CIMA, or CPA are advantageous.
Proven experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in a temporary or contract capacity.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and relevant software/tools.
Proficiency in MS Excel and other accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle).
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work well in teams.
Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and work effectively in fast-paced settings.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Flexibility and willingness to take on diverse assignments as per client requirements.
Availability for temporary assignments in the North East region of Ireland.
