We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a background in the renewable energy sector, specifically in Wind Energy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned project manager to bring their expertise and exceptional skillset to a thriving and innovative organization dedicated to making renewable energy accessible, economically viable, and sustainable.
As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various renewable energy projects across different locations in Ireland. The right candidate will be rewarded with an attractive package, including a competitive base salary, pension, and a company car (EV).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project management from inception to successful completion, including adeptly managing relationships with key stakeholders, landowners, and project team members.
Spearhead pre-construction and construction project management activities to ensure smooth execution.
Conduct project due diligence to assess feasibility and potential risks.
Oversee engineering contract preparation, negotiation, tendering, management, and reporting.
Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure effective budgeting and cost control.
Requirements:
A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pre-construction onshore wind/solar project development within the renewable energy sector in Ireland or the UK.
Proven experience in handling EBOP, CBOP, TSA tenders.
Proficiency in detailed programming and budgeting to facilitate efficient project execution.
Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, liaising with entities such as EirGrid/ESB, CRU, An Bord Pleanala, H&S, County Councils, Landowners, Lawyers, Procurement Managers, and Financial Controllers.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, representing the organization as a true ambassador.
Excellent report writing and analytical abilities with an unwavering attention to detail.
