Osborne Executive Search is delighted to collaborate with our esteemed client, a prominent European renewable energy company making remarkable strides in establishing a significant presence in Ireland. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager with a background in the renewable energy sector, specifically in Wind Energy. This is a fantastic opportunity for a seasoned project manager to bring their expertise and exceptional skillset to a thriving and innovative organization dedicated to making renewable energy accessible, economically viable, and sustainable.
As the Project Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing various renewable energy projects across different locations in Ireland. The right candidate will be rewarded with an attractive package, including a competitive base salary, pension, and a company car (EV).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead project management from inception to successful completion, including adeptly managing relationships with key stakeholders, landowners, and project team members.

  • Spearhead pre-construction and construction project management activities to ensure smooth execution.

  • Conduct project due diligence to assess feasibility and potential risks.

  • Oversee engineering contract preparation, negotiation, tendering, management, and reporting.

  • Collaborate closely with the finance team to ensure effective budgeting and cost control.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience in pre-construction onshore wind/solar project development within the renewable energy sector in Ireland or the UK.

  • Proven experience in handling EBOP, CBOP, TSA tenders.

  • Proficiency in detailed programming and budgeting to facilitate efficient project execution.

  • Strong expertise in stakeholder engagement and relationship management, liaising with entities such as EirGrid/ESB, CRU, An Bord Pleanala, H&S, County Councils, Landowners, Lawyers, Procurement Managers, and Financial Controllers.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, representing the organization as a true ambassador.

  • Excellent report writing and analytical abilities with an unwavering attention to detail.
