We currently have a fantastic new Head of Sales and Business Development opportunity open with an established asset finance provider in Ireland. This role’s objective is to develop the sales activities in line with the strategic development plan. As Head of Sales and Business Development you will be managing a team to grow the existing vendor relationships and broaden the vendor list, with the support of the sales support team. The successful candidate will be required to come from a Senior Sales position within a financial industry and have demonstrated significant experience managing a team. 

Salary & Benefits €80,000 + Excellent Benefits 

Duties:

• Achieve sales targets laid down by the strategic development plan
• Manage and steer the Sales and sales support team
• Manage and complete individual transactions including preparation of credit applications
• Develop strong relationships so they can provide additional support to our Vendor relationships
• Establish close co-operation with vendor senior staff
• Data accuracy and compliance with policy personally and in the team
• Contribution to development of operation and organization
• Think strategic and drive own activity and team’s one accordingly
• Ensure CBI compliance is maintained and up to date. Take appropriate tests and/or examinations for QFA

Requirements:

• Ten years’ experience in sales within the Financial Industry 
• Experience of managing a team 
• Ability to work at all levels of vendor organisation
• Strong MS Office Skills and the ability to work remotely
• Car is essential for this role
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Demonstrate highest level of integrity and professionalism
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including ability to project a positive image to all third parties via appropriate medium
