We have an exciting opportunity for a Financial Controller in Cork City.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
Presentations to the Executives, showing current and forecasted business position and highlighting future opportunities and any business challenges ahead.
As a key member of the senior management team you will play a significant role in the production of the annual business plan and review of same.
Create monthly and annual reports to identify results, trends and financial forecasts.
Pro-active contribution to the overall property management and cost management.
Safeguard the assets of the business with particular emphasis on the maintenance of sound internal control systems.
To develop the skills and competencies of the finance teams in all areas of the finance function.
To drive and lead our departmental managers in achieving our KPI’s.
To posses a strong acumen in technology to analysis data in real time and turn into valuable business insights.
Requirements:
We are looking for an ambitious, confident and professional individual with strong communication, organisational, analytical and management skills.
System experience of Sage, Opera and Procure Wizard though not essential.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with 3 years PQE
The ideal candidate will demonstrate accounting experience, preferably in a hospitality, food & beverage environment or within the retail sector
Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures
2-3 years’ proven experience in an accountancy role
