Project Manager (Construction)

Osborne Tech & Eng. Division is currently recruiting for a Project Manager to join an innovative and progressive Company organisation in Co Meath. Your Responsibilities:
 

  • Work closely with clients ensuring any/all price or detail changes are communicated and understood.
  • Manage the project reviews highlighting any risks to senior management.
  • Resolving issues as they arise, ensuring the project continues on schedule and in budget.
  • Coordinate, and review construction drawings, specifications and work requirements.
  • Liaise with Architect, Engineer, Procurement manager and Director of Operations for pre and onsite stages.
  • Manage and develop sub-contractors working on the projects.
  • Build and oversee tender packages for main contractors.
  • Generate and clearly communicate monthly progress reports for your clients.
  • Work alongside site management and admin teams to ensure agreed work and payments schedules are met.
  • Generate project budgets and track spends. You will monitor this closely across multiple projects and look to mitigate risk.
  • Reviewing and approving contractors variation and payment claims.

 

Experience:
 

  • 5 years minimum experience working in a high volume environment with relevant experience.
  • Degree or relevant third level qualification. Preferably in Project Management or Quantity Surveying.
  • A thorough understanding of Construction is essential.
  • Demonstrate consultancy skills. This is a client facing role where you will need to manage these relationships throughout each project stage and help navigate challenges that arise.
  • A motivated candidate with strong communication and negotiating skills.
  • A desire to own the process. You will work collaboratively with the Commercial Director to implement change.
  • You will be organised, and detail focused.
