Junior Accounts Assistant We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the finance department This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to gain experience in the field of accounting and finance. Responsibilities:
Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
Assist with accounts to trial balance
Assist with budgets and forecast.
Bank Reconciliations
Reconcile company Credit Cards
Assist with customer billing & invoicing.
Posting and reconciling invoices
Processing employee expense reports
Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
Preparing financial reports and statements
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required
Requirements:
2-3 years’ previous experience in an account’s environment is essential with a solid understanding of bookkeeping.
Previous experience of construction, although not essential, may be advantageous.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with accounting software is preferred
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team environment
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
