Junior Accounts Assistant
We are currently seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Accounts Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and supporting the finance department

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with accounts payable and accounts receivable
  • Assist with accounts to trial balance
  • Assist with budgets and forecast.
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Reconcile company Credit Cards
  • Assist with customer billing & invoicing.
  • Posting and reconciling invoices
  • Processing employee expense reports
  • Assisting with month-end and year-end closing procedures
  • Preparing financial reports and statements
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records
  • Supporting the finance team with ad hoc tasks as required

Requirements:

  • 2-3 years’ previous experience in an account’s environment is essential with a solid understanding of bookkeeping.
  • Previous experience of construction, although not essential, may be advantageous.
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
  • Experience with accounting software is preferred
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
