Osborne Recruitment are currently recruiting for a Management Accountant for our client a Manufacturer & Construction Company based in Mallow. This is an exciting position that provides plenty of scope to grow within the role. The successful candidate will be offered an attractive salary based on previous experience.

This is a full time permanent position.
Salary: €50K to €60K – Depending on Experience
Hours: Monday to Thursday 8:30 to 5.30pm and Friday 8:30 to 5:00 pm.

What you will do:

  • Cost Accounting for manufacturing facility.
  • Monthly Accounts preparation, to include financial management.
  • Financial budgeting & forecasting preparation.
  • Preparation and presentation of key financial information to senior management.
  • Control & Analysis of payroll
  • Cost control of business operations
  • Co-ordinate annual audit process for Irish & UK entities
  • Control, guide & support bookkeeping to ensure effective running of operations.
  • Control & focus on Cash flows, forecasts and  cost accounting
  • Filing and payment of all Irish Revenue returns and UK HMRC Returns, including PAYE/VAT/RCT/Intrastat

What you will need:

  • Qualified Accountant ACA/ACCA/CIMA/CPA or will consider a strong part qualified.
  • 3 years + experience in similar role.
  • Experience working in a construction environment would be an advantage
  • Strong IT skills, in particular- advanced excel skills
  • Experience in working with SAP, Xero, Sage lin50, quick-books, or similar package.
  • Ability to work on own initiative & meet deadlines
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
