Here at Osborne, we are hiring a Senior Executive Officer on behalf of our client who is a leading public sector organisation based in Dublin 4. This is a hybrid position available from 3 months up 9 months with the potential to be extended.
Salary: €50,000 +
Temporary Assignment –  Paid Weekly
Hybrid and flexible working arrangements

The Person
The ideal candidate should be extremely well organised with the ability to influence and motivate other team members while efficiently multi-tasking. They should have exceptional communication skills and have the capability to work both diligently and confidently in a busy role
Responsibilities will include:

  • Actively manage the implementation of the life of the programme/project, to include project reporting, project programme, governance, expenditure/funding profiling, and approvals.
  • Assist with the requisition and disbursement of funding, including annual profiling, approvals notification, implementation of controls, claims management, requisition of funding, disbursement of funding, reporting and account reconciliation
  • Contribute to the development and implementation, management and coordination of all aspects of funding programmes within the department 
  • Coordination of meetings and working groups as the need arises including the organisation of events and meetings, such as consultation meetings with higher education institutions, Government Department and State Agencies

Requirements:

  • Excellent project and programme management skill with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in project & programme management
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with excellent report writing skills and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the preparation and publication of professional reports
  • Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail, ability to interrogate and analyse large datasets, producing graphical outputs
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interrogate and challenge information/data
  • Experience in the Microsoft Office suite of programmes, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Good stakeholder relationship management skills
