We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor for our client based in Cork. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about Human Resources and looking to gain fantastic experience within a fast-paced environment and looking and to grow as a HR Professional. The selected candidate would require a background in people management, or relevant experience. 

Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

  • Provide advice and support to managers to ensure they understand and effectively implement the Company HR policies and procedures whilst ensuring best practice.
  • Compliance with regard to employment law and employment terms and conditions.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
  • Recruitment; advertising, selection, and interview process.
  • On-boarding new employees including reference checks, issuing contracts, training plans etc.
  • Training, development and upskilling of all employees.
  • Succession & resource planning.
  • Managing the HR database and employee files.
  • Production of contracts, letters, documentation, and correspondence.
  • Liaising with payroll.
  • Provide accurate and timely management information.
  • Manage grievance & disciplinary investigations as required.
  • Manage all activities relating to occupational health and referrals.

Ideal candidate:

  • Highly organised 
  • Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
  • Desire to learn and develop.
  • Strong relationship and communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior management.
  • Experience in developing & implementing policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
  • Demonstrated track-record of working independently and as part of a team.
  • Experienced Self Starter who can react effectively to opportunities or issues.
  • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
  • Preferably won their own car in case they need to travel to other offices.
  • Human Resources qualification.
