We are currently recruiting a HR Advisor for our client based in Cork. We are looking for a candidate who is passionate about Human Resources and looking to gain fantastic experience within a fast-paced environment and looking and to grow as a HR Professional. The selected candidate would require a background in people management, or relevant experience.
Key responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:
Provide advice and support to managers to ensure they understand and effectively implement the Company HR policies and procedures whilst ensuring best practice.
Compliance with regard to employment law and employment terms and conditions.
Develop, implement, and maintain policies and procedures.
Recruitment; advertising, selection, and interview process.
On-boarding new employees including reference checks, issuing contracts, training plans etc.
Training, development and upskilling of all employees.
Succession & resource planning.
Managing the HR database and employee files.
Production of contracts, letters, documentation, and correspondence.
Liaising with payroll.
Provide accurate and timely management information.
Manage grievance & disciplinary investigations as required.
Manage all activities relating to occupational health and referrals.
Ideal candidate:
Highly organised
Excellent time management and prioritisation skills.
Desire to learn and develop.
Strong relationship and communication skills, including the ability to engage with senior management.
Experience in developing & implementing policies and procedures.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities.
Demonstrated track-record of working independently and as part of a team.
Experienced Self Starter who can react effectively to opportunities or issues.
High level of integrity and confidentiality.
Preferably won their own car in case they need to travel to other offices.
Human Resources qualification.
