My client is currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on a permanent basis for their site in Co. Meath. They are a well-known organisation who specialise in installation of cable systems on their projects across Europe. 
The successful candidate must have a minimum of 1 years’ experience processing payroll and a relevant Payroll Qualification would be an advantage. This is a great opportunity to join and expanding team and business while gain valuable experience in multi-jurisdictional payroll. 
You will join a team of 3 and report to the Financial Controller.

Duties & Responsibilities: 

  • Assist with the preparation of fortnightly & monthly payroll for Ireland, Europe and UK
  • Collation of weekly timesheet data on Time Management System and check for accuracy
  • Process all new starters and leavers 
  • First point of contact for staff payroll queries  
  • Management of annual leave entitlements and employee benefits
  • Adhere to strict deadlines in payroll process & Revenue submissions
  • Provide administrative support to the Financial Controller
  • Produce monthly reports and returns and reconcile same 
  • HR support and general office duties 

 
Qualification & Experience:

  • A minimum 1 years experience working in Payroll
  • Payroll Qualification (Advantage)
  • Previous experience working with multi-jurisdictional payroll (Advantage)
  • Experience using Sage Micropay (Advantage)
  • Strong Excel & Microsoft skills
  • Analytically minded with excellent attention to detail ensuring accuracy
  • Ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and meet multiple deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
