Here at Osborne, we are currently recruiting for the position of Finance Administrator for our client based in a thriving company in Waterford. We are looking for a qualified or part qualified in an accountancy, accounting technician or similar discipline.
The ideal candidate will have:
3+ Tears experience in industry in a finance or administrative role
Experience of AR/AP reconciliations
Familiarity with operating platforms, SAP, Odoo, QuickBooks etc, including MRP systems.
Sending Customer Statements and following up on overdue payments
Processing Supplier Invoices and inputting into the Finance management system.
Checking Supplier Statements and preparing monthly payments runs.
Dealing with Supplier queries and resolving same.
Assisting with bank reconciliations and month-end accounts
General day-to-day office administration duties including maintaining files, petty cash account, issuing instructions to staff and banking, etc.
Processing of employees' salary payments (prepared by external accountant)
Requirements:
Experience of accounts receivable and accounts payable
Experience of Quickbooks Accounts Package
Experience in Microsoft Office Suite especially Word and Excel
Strong communication skills
Accounts and general office administration background
Excellent attention to detail in all aspects of administration
