Here at Osborne, we are delighted to be working with our client, a leading Irish Agricultural trading company, in seeking an Experienced Trader to join their growing team in Naas, Co. Kildare. The ideal candidate will be experienced in sourcing and selling product, and come from a Meat based background.
The Package:
€50,000-60,000 starting base salary + commission
Attractive commission structure in place, uncapped
OTE €85K +
22 days AL

Key Responsibilities:
Responsibilities associated with this role include, but are not limited to:
Working with approved suppliers and customers in the Meat industry
Driving new business, thinking strategically, anticipating and reacting to opportunities within the Market Place
Being results orientated while being a key team player, communicating effectively with the existing Sales team
Adhering to the company’s policy on Food Safety and Compliance
B2B Sales
Traveling to visit customers, clients and various fairs (can be outside of regular hours)
Skills / Qualifications/ Experience:
Have at least 5 years’ trading experience reinforced by extensive product and industry knowledge across the 4 main proteins on international market
Third level qualification in Food/Agricultural Science preferred
Be computer literate, an effective communicator, languages not essential but would be an advantage
Have undertaken Professional courses/ training
Driving license preferably
Availability some Saturdays for fairs
Note: As with all positions, due to the dynamic nature of the business, key responsibilities will evolve and change over time. Some travel will be required.
