Here at Osborne, we are hiring Maintenance Technicians on behalf of our client, one of Ireland’s leading pet food manufacturers and providers located in Naas, Kildare.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficient assembly of goods to the agreed quality standard, using safe practices.

Package:

  • Up to €25 per hour DOE
  • Shift allowances
  • Fully onsite
  • 5 12hour shifts per week with 2 days off (rotated)

Responsibilities:
The successful candidates will perform maintenance and support tasks on high-speed automated equipment, this role is ideally suited to candidates with experience in engineering or manufacturing. You will need to demonstrate that you are self-motivated and that you can work as an integral part of a dedicated maintenance team.
This position will require you to have a flexible approach within all aspects of the role and be willing to engage with a changing work environment and may involve shift and weekend work.

Requirements:

  • A formal relevant technical qualification to at least level 6
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience in a technical field inclusive of Mech / Elec & IT
  • Worked in a high-volume manufacturing environment
  • Worked on all aspects of general maintenance and technical cleaning
  • Experience in using a CMMS and working with PM programs
  • Strong knowledge of automated and conveying systems
  • A competent level of understanding in the area of troubleshooting of PC’s, PLC, pneumatic, mechanical, IT and electronic/electrical systems
  • Strong analytical skills supporting fast and effective problem solving
  • A proven ability in trouble shooting and recovering equipment in a dynamic environment
