I am looking for a Group Tax Manager on a Permanent basis for a multi-billion MNC based in East Co.Cavan. This role will report to the Financial Controller, and is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished Tax Manager to join a fast-growing team. This role is a crucial part of the Finance team with lots of scope for progression.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accurately preparing and filing tax returns 
• Completing cross border/international tax issues
• Developing tax strategies to assist clients in being tax-compliant
• Identifying tax problems and developing solutions
• Completing responses and schedules in preparation for income tax audits
• Monitoring developments in tax technicalities 
• Supervising members of the tax team to ensure that tax returns are completed correctly
• Building and maintaining relationships with clients
• Tax compliance and reporting 

Experience: 

• ACA or ACCA with an Irish Chartered Tax Advisor qualification (or international equivalent) with 3-5 years’ experience 
• Excellent computer skills, including advanced level MS Excel skills
• Experience using an ERP system such as SAP
• Experience in IFRS tax accounting principles
• Good analytical skills 
• Routine reporting and working to deadlines
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
• A desire and drive to progress 
• Preferably coming from one of the Big4/Top10
