We are working with our client to recruit a Finance Analyst (FP&A) within a progressive global company that specialises in mergers and acquisitions and innovative processes to support value-based solutions. They operate efficiently worldwide in delivering security and transmission solutions within banking, education, retail, healthcare and more. The successful candidate will be self-motivated with the ability to work independently and pro-actively. You will report to the Head of Financial Planning & Analysis and will cover group controlling and management reporting duties. This is a fulltime permanent position with a very flexible hybrid work model.

€65,000 – €80,000 DOE

Duties & Responsibilities:
Working closely with the FP&A manager to provide in-depth analysis on business performance and to emphasise the implications of the numbers and suggested actions
Support of the periodical inventory valuation process and coordinate counter-measures with Operations to reduce inventory obsolescence
Material cost development, identify product, supplier and pricing trends that drive financial performance
Monitor and highlight the interdependencies between business decisions and contribution margin evolution (incl. simulation and scenario planning)
Support quarterly forecasting and annual budget preparation
Budget, forecast and monitor expenditures in assigned departments
Support in analysing and commenting financial results and company performance, variance analysis, preparation of periodical business review presentations
Requirements/Experience:
Bachelor’s or Master’s in Finance and / or Accounting, or a degree in a related field
5+ years FP&A experience in a similar position/Finance organisation
Experience of SAP system (MM/FI/CO) an advantage
Experience with SaaS (software-as-a-service)-based financial planning/reporting
Proficient with Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
Financial and analytical acumen
Experience with data mining, BI and predictive analytics tools a distinct advantage
Strong planning & organisation skills
Demonstrate the ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks or projects
Practical knowledge of electronics and the manufacturing processes a plus
Some travel and fieldwork potentially including international travel
