Accounts Assistant – Dublin 12 – Permanent role!

Growing company looking for a hands on Accounts Assistant to join their fast growing organization!
This is a permanent role in Dublin 12, and is ideal for someone who enjoys being in a team but working on their own initiative.

Salary & Benefits:

  • Salary – €35,000-38,000
  • Fully office based
  • Some flexibility can be arranged on an adhoc basis
  • Onsite parking
  • 20 days annual leave
  • Full training provided.
  • Monday to Friday 0900 – 1730 ( Some Fridays with an early finish!)

Duties include:

  • Monitoring daily communications (emails etc) and answering any queries.
  • Calling Debtors and chasing debt. Controlling credit.
  • Ensuring payments, amounts and records are correct.
  • Sending out statements and invoices to customers.
  • Chasing up deposits and allocating deposits to customers records.
  • Liaising with warehouse on daily, weekly basis regarding deliveries that can go out (paid for etc)
  • Working with spreadsheets, sales and purchase daybooks.
  • Recording and filing lodgement transactions.
  • Invoice processing and filing.
  • Liaising with third party providers, clients and suppliers.
  • Updating and maintaining procedural documentation (sending out supplier/vendor setup forms etc).
  • Liaising with sales and warehousing departments regarding invoices and payments etc.
  • Ensuring supplier invoices are filed properly and match supplier statements.
  • Send out supplier invoices for approval to relevant departments etc.
  • All other ad hoc duties etc within the accounts department.


  • Ability to work as part of a team and take direction accurately.
  • Analytical thinker and problem solver.
  • Competent IT skills, particularly proficiency with spreadsheet software.
  • High level of accuracy.
  • Extremely organised in a manner that is easily read by others.
  • Trustworthy and discreet when dealing with confidential information.
  • Administrative skills.
  • Knowledge of Exchequer System desirable
