Our client, a leading manufacturer in the tech space based in West Dublin, are seeking a Financial Controller on a permanent basis to lead their finance department and manage the finance function for this growing, dynamic organisation. This is an excellent opportunity for a strong finance professional to join an established hi-tech manufacturing company where new ideas are encouraged, and a healthy dose of challenge is beneficial. The ideal candidate for this role will be a fully qualified accountant with 10 years+ PQE and strong experience of cost accounting in the SME manufacturing sector.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for the day to day running of the finance department within the company, and representing the finance department at management meetings
Reporting – month end management reporting, annual budget and reforecast, financial modelling, as well as ad hoc reporting to meet business needs
Compliance – statutory audit, revenue compliance including corporation tax, VAT, VIES, Intrastat, payroll tax and income tax, CSO and all other compliance reporting relevant to the finance department
Working capital management, cashflow forecasting and fund raising
Measuring and driving profitability. Costing of products, feeding into the sales product pricebook, and project costing
SAP systems administrator and ensuring the integrity of the ERP system
Writing processes and procedures to improve the financial controls within the organisation
Training and supervision of staff including payroll review
Maintaining financial controls, processes and procedures
Production of monthly reporting pack and annual budgetary process used to provide information to key stakeholders
Main point of contact in the business for statutory and revenue audits
Raising finance via external lenders, government grants, Revenue R&D tax credit, leasing partners and debt factoring
Measuring and driving profitability within the organisation
Requirements:
Fully qualified accountant
10 years+ PQE
Strong cost accounting experience in the SME manufacturing sector
Experience of SAP BI ERP system would be highly desirable
Experience in compliance and dealing with auditors & Revenue
