Group HR Manager

This exciting new opportunity is a senior HR leadership appointment and will be responsible for the entire range of people-related activities, services, policies, and HR Programmes for the organisations diverse multi-cultural workforce. This is a highly visible role and requires the ability to influence culture and tone among teams, and individuals. It also requires the skills to lead the organisations line managers in carrying out their people-related activities.

The Group HR Manager will lead HR practices and objectives that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasizes empowerment, quality, productivity, good standards, goal attainment, and the recruitment and ongoing development for a high-performance business. You will be responsible for the development of processes and metrics that support the achievement of the organisation's business goals.  

Experience Required

  • Minimum 5 years in a similar HR Management role
  • Demonstrated experience of multicultural environment
  • Must have demonstrable experience in successful HR strategy development
  • Experience in the application of HR Policies and Procedures
  • Experience in the development of training and development programmes
  • Experience in a fast-paced technology development, manufacturing, construction, and environmentally focussed management sector desirable
  • Leadership in challenging situations
  • Knowledge and experience of pension and other benefit schemes
  • Knowledge and experience of Employee Relations
  • Strong management skills including budget and people management experience
  • Strong knowledge and experience of employment legislation, compliance, and applicable regulations
  • Experience in GDPR and Data Protection
  • Excellent organisational, time management, verbal, written and presentation skills
  • Strong IT skills in Microsoft Office and experience of a HR and TMS or similar system would be advantageous
  • Ability to work on own initiative and carry projects and programmes through to completion
  • Ability and experience dealing with Board members, SMT, and external stakeholders and customers


  • Bachelor’s degree
  • CIPD membership
  • Previous HR Manager experience required
