Duties / Responsibilities

  • We have two permanent vacancies and are looking for a Financial Advisory/Transaction Manager and Financial Advisory/Transaction Senior Manager to join the very supportive excellent focused team due to the growth of the organisation.
  • If you are a fully qualified Accountant and wish to grow your career with a leading practice this role may be for you!
  • Lead Financial Advisory assignments and teams, with a primary focus on Transaction Services
  • Interact directly with clients and targets in the delivery of projects
  • Possess strong communication skills, particularly with regard to written reports and presentations
  • Manage relationships with clients and other business contacts
  • Focus on winning new work / contribute to business development opportunities
  • Work to deadlines and manage profitability on projects
  • Manage and mentor more junior staff in Financial Advisory department
  •  

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience of working in an advisory / corporate finance/transaction based environment
  • Strong familiarity with deal structuring and concepts such as Quality of Earnings, Adjusted Net Debt, Normalised Working Capital
  • Experience in managing a team of professionals to deliver projects in a fast-paced environment
  • A broad range of experience of working with SMEs across key business sectors, requiring strong commercial acumen
  • Experience in robustly challenging financial and non-financial aspects of businesses
  • Ability to undertake sector-based research and form a view as to risks and opportunities for a business operating in the sector
  • Financial modelling, including the preparation and interrogation of complex models
  • Strong report writing abilities

 

Minimum Qualifications

  • Qualified accountant with experience in a medium / large practice environment
  • Post qualification experience in relevant area (advisory/transaction services / corporate finance)
  • Self-confidence with strong interpersonal and communications skills
  • Established networking skills
  • Excellent organisational and planning capabilities
